1. About Billida
Billida GmbH (“Billida”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates a rental service for baby essentials. By placing an order on our website, you (“the customer”, “you”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
2. Rental Agreement

Renting a product from Billida creates a binding rental agreement between Billida and the customer.

Products remain the property of Billida at all times.

Subscriptions include a minimum rental period, depending on the product. After this period, the subscription automatically continues on a monthly basis unless cancelled.
3. Delivery & Shipping

Orders are shipped within 3–5 working days (unless otherwise stated).

Delivery charges are shown at checkout and depend on product size.

Return shipping is always free.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
4. Use of Rented Products

Products may only be used as intended and in accordance with safety instructions.

Customers must ensure that products are handled with care and stored in suitable conditions.

Normal wear and tear is included in the rental fee. Customers may be charged for missing parts or damage that affects safety or function.
5. Product Care, Cleaning & Refurbishment

All Billida items are professionally cleaned and disinfected before each rental.

Customers are expected to carry out light cleaning before returning products.

Returned products go through a refurbishment process (inspection, deep cleaning, sanitization) before being rented again.
6. Returns & Cancellations

After the minimum rental period, customers may cancel via their Billida account.

Billida provides free return labels and clear instructions for product return.

Products must be returned within the stated timeframe and in safe packaging (preferably the original box).

Customers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (if not waived at checkout), valid from the date of delivery.
7. Payments

Rental fees are billed in advance. The first payment is due at the time of order.

Recurring payments are collected monthly on the same date.

Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

If payment cannot be collected, Billida reserves the right to suspend or terminate the subscription.
8. Loss, Damage & Insurance

Customers are responsible for products during the rental period.

Theft, loss, or irreparable damage must be reported immediately to Billida.

In such cases, Billida may charge the replacement value unless covered by additional protection or insurance.
9. Liability
-
Billida checks and maintains all products before each rental.

Billida is not liable for misuse of products or injuries resulting from incorrect use.

Customers are responsible for ensuring products are used according to manufacturer instructions.
10. Privacy & Data Protection

Customer data is used only for processing rentals, payments, and customer support.
-
Data is stored securely and handled according to applicable data protection laws in Switzerland.
11. Governing Law
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
-
The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
